About

Hello, welcome! 👋

I'm David Keefe (aka lowvisiondave), a visually impaired full-stack web developer. I'm currently a Senior Platform Architect at Vercel, where I help enterprise customers make the web faster.

In 2002, during my senior year of high school, I lost most of my central vision to Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy. I earned a bachelor's degree in sociology with the aid of assistive technology and the web, and fell in love with the tools that made it possible.

I also have a deep love for punk and hardcore music. I attend as many shows as I can get to, and I curate an ever-growing vinyl collection. Check out my music page for what's been on my stereo lately.

When I'm not at my desk, I enjoy traveling with my wife in search of adventure, delicious food and craft beer, catching Blue Jays games, or just hanging out with our goofy dog, Bruno.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the web.
